Wow, they're really nice. I love that wooden tower.

I made a control tower recently, using photos I took on site as textures. I found that if I added a 50% alpha mask to the window areas then I got a realistic reflection and could still see the detail of the room inside.

Thanks Simon! Your tower sounds great... Any pics?? The only detailed tower I completed was one for my KSGJ scenery. It's not as good as it will be... when I rebuild and re-release the airport.

The Ali AB tower uses only textures to simulate the window reflections. Since I don't know much about it, and only have one pic, I figured I'd do a "best guess" model instead of trying to be too detailed.

Sorry, I'd love to show them but I was granted access to a restricted facility where photography is normally not allowed in order to create the scenery for a military simulator. (Believe me, it's not anywhere near as exciting as it sounds...!)

Thanks Jim. Right now it's for FS9. When I eventually complete the building of my next PC (soon) I'll start messing with FSX... I hope.:rolleyes:
