Gentlemen,

my current project has now reached the point where I am able to post some shots without flushing too much. So please find attached one of my favorite pictures from the visual approach 08 (which is flewn as well by small aircraft as by jets; B747 are not allowed to land in LOWI).

I am struggling with some texture issues and a problem with VTP-excludes but I am quite confident to finds solutions. On the right corner at the bottom you can see a part of the rail-track. I am planning to add dynamic trains (like in Leipzig-Halle).

Great work Gianni!! Are you planning to create also the autogen for the city of INN? Or at least plant some tree near the airport :D
Btw is a great scenery! Just a question: how did you modeled the elevated road?

I think the road is just an image ...

Looks great as always when it's Gianni's work!
But I think it will be payware, won't it?

But I think it will be payware, won't it?

"Approaching LOWI 2008 wird als Payware" stands on the projects homepage.

So I am afraid it seems like it will be payware...

hi,

@ras78:
Yup, off course the city - or even parts of it - will be implemented. it will look like this:

and trees will be added.

may i just ask what quality Sat Nav images are you using e.g. metres per pixel and where did you get them from?

im looking at Terraserver as they seem the cheapest however im not sure of the quality

hi Philip,

nope - I do not use sat images. I am using areal photos with a resultion of 0,25m/pixel. For Austria they are property of the government and I had to buy them (awful expensive!).

Gentlemen!

The version for FS9 has now reached its 'release candidate' status. Here some screenshots made by Rainer Duda:

Looks awesome ... I fully understand, that you release that one as payware, although I'm a little bit sad about it ...

Have been following the progress of this, what is meant by Release Candidate Gianni ?

"Release Candidate" means that the scenery addon for FS9 is ready for release but the installer and the documentation has yet to be finished. But functionally nothing additionally has to be done anymore.

Thank you Georg.

The scenery is available at www.aerosoft.de. Now I have to struggle with the FSX-version. It never ends :)
