Hi,

There is the program FSRegen (see download page)... but if it also works with FSDS... that's the question.

FsRegen can only be used to make API macros that call an object from a library BGL. And it only works with GMax files of the FS2002 gamepack.

FSDS should have an option to save your objects directly as an API macro.

What do you want to use ModelConverterX for? The most recent version of FSDS can export to FSX MDL directly, so then there is no need for the conversion. If you only have an older version or only have the API macros left and not the FSC file, then converting might be the way to go.

I wanna explore ModelConverter's feature :)

OK :). Direct saving to API from FSDS is the best then. Which version are you using?

I don't think you can do api files with FSDS v3.5. However it can be done with FSDS v2. Contact Adam Howe at Abacus. I am sure he will give you a link to download it free if you don't have it. Well at least he did with me!:)
