Hi,

it's just FSX light bloom effect ;) Aerial images are provided by local map company named "Blom kartta Oy", not google earth :)

Except that the copyright does not allow you to use these sources in your scenery.

I've used them in past projects, you can use these images if you leave the ''Google'' watermark on the image and give credit for the maps themselves.

At least that's what was stated in a email from Google.

Indeed - As long as it's not payware.

Yes, if you leave the Google text, but most designers would not like to see the word Google everywhere on their terrain :).

Yes, that is the only problem with the watermark.

Dear Mikko,
Would you mind telling me how you make approach light? I'm looking for the way to make it but I search for "approach light" in this web but I could not find how to do it. I'm using airport for window to make approach light but it stay on the ground at one level, not the way it is in real life.
Thanks,
Jtanabodee

Approach lights are done with GMax :) It's the only way to build 3D approach lightning system. Just do simple mast models and insert some lights on it.
