This airbase is my first big GMAX-project beside some little scenes.
Till now, I've planted some trees, made big ground polygons, the rwy (without markings) and some taxiways.
I modeled a shelter too but at the moment I'm looking for reference material, depending on the gate and the interior.
As it's mentioned in the headline:
Work in progress!
So from time to time, I'll post some screenshots here.
I would be happy about your opinion!

Thanks :)
Around 40 base images. Each Image covers an area of 500 square meters and is 1024*1024px large. Rezising that to 512*512 shouldn't have an effect on the quality. I'll give it a try soon.

Ah right ok thanks.

It certainly looks the part, i only used 10 main base images on my Newquay project, but i suppose it depends what outcome your looking for.

Look at the post of the 16th January. He borrowed the rwy textures from FlyTampa.

Yes, i was aware of that post. But there was no referance made to his taxiway textures.

Or in t he case, he has since developed his own set.....

great looking stuff! Would you mind showing us the shelter you mentioned?

I am currently searching for a shelter which I could use for my ETSL-scenery (http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/showpost.php?p=94530&postcount=1).
