Hi Arno,
when i import an Api File there have lights then i can see the position and what colour he has.
But, after i make a MDL File and import with Creator to make a BGL File.....there are no lights in FSX to see !

Why ???

Ps.
I make all my Objects with EOD, that is a perfect tool to make API Files. I big Tower with buildings is ready at 20 minutes with all what we need !
And in this tool we can give the Obejects all FS2002 lights.
Blink fast, normal , slow or what we need.
And in Modellconverter we can see...but no show lights at FSX.

Hi,

When you export to MDL you should also get some effect files, these need to be placed in the FSX effects folder to see the lights.

Hi Arno,
mhhh....where can i see what effect the lights, normal red or white for lamps or for Tower blink lamps...the fx file it is ?

In my FX Folder are all files with a little more.

EOD make at this time the fs2004 lights for API Files.
But what is that for an fx file ?

I have another way to make a light to tower or what else, but then was the API Objectfile bigger....

Hi,

When you convert the API macro with ModelConverterX to a MDL file, the effect (FX) files should be written in the same folder as the MDL file. You need to manually copy them to the FSX effects folder.
