Static Aircraft

Hi guys not not sure where i should place this thread How do i place static military aircraft on my air bases i dont want them to move just be static like decoy lightnings at RAF Wildenrath any help would be great thanks

Hi,

In general there are two ways to do this:


Place them as static scenery objects
Place them as AI traffic, but ones that are parked there all the time


I guess which approach works best depends on the kind of models you have. If they are flyable aircraft I guess option 2 will be quicker. If you found some scenery objects, then 1 might be easier.

I have made several static models of aircrafts, some military (C-17, C-130, C-18, DHC-6 and Bell 412). I can use a scenery manager or edit their XML file to place them anywhere into a scenery.
