It's me again,

When I import fsx model, I have warning (can't load bmp files). It is normal because there are no bmp files but dds files. If I rename dds in bmp, textures in modelconverterx are ok, but files are really dds not bmp format.

Have you an explain for this.

Hi,

If ModelConverterX asks for BMP files, then that is the extension that is stored in the MDL file. FSX has a feature that is will automatically look for both DDS and BMP files with the given name. So that is why your DDS files work fine in FSX.

I will add a feature to ModelConverterX that also looks for both formats (BMP and DDS), just like FSX does. That should prevent trouble like this.
