Hi all,
My scenery is progressing well, so it's time to upload new screenshots. I've attached a photo of the real building to each shot, so you can compare them. If you don' believe it's a screen, just check the msfs grass
Hope you'll like it!
Regards,
Maarten

Wow, you waited a full 19 hours for a reply. Did you really expect that all members of this forum would rush to this thread to praise you screenshots?

Seriously these screenshots look fantastic, but what else could we say?

Hi Arno,
Thanks for the comment! I thought I posted it saturday, but that was on another forum, so sorry for my question, deleted it now.

Hehe ok. I hope it did not sound to rude? I could just not resist the sarcastic side in me :D.
How did you get such great photos to be able to make these high quality textures? They look really nice.

Heheh, no problem arno, when I read back my post I must laugh too :D
I am very lucky that I have contact with a controller who is working at LOWI. And even more lucky that the guys over there are building an ATC simulator to train new controllers. So they have created a DVD with over 280 high resulotion (think about 3500 x 2300 px) photos of EVERY building of the airport and sent it to me too! :D There is also an Autocad file on the DVD which I use as a background for my ground polygons, and even the 3D taxilights and runway lights are exactly on place since I can use that file. It couldn't have more luck since I live in the Netherlands ;)
@ Bob,
The grass is just a custom texture. Put an egal white plate behind some nice grass, take a photo, load it in your pc, edit it with PS or another program (therefore the white plate, so you can easely cut out your grass) and that's it!
It looks quite nice I think...
Best Regards,
Maarten

I didn't know what to say so I stayed silent. I kept waiting for the pic of the scenery but didn't realize that they were right there. I thought all those shots were just photographs. :D I then looked at them again and saw that there was more. I feel dumb now.
