A problem in the handling of airports with negative elevations, such as Schipol (ICAO:EHAM) has recently been discovered in version 1.28. (It is a "day 1" problem). AI aircraft departing from or arriving at these airports may be directed by ATC to quite unrealistic altitudes (e.g., FL2170). No other unusual symptoms have been reported.
Fortunately, the fix is easy. Just load any traffic file that uses any airport with negative elevation and recompile it with AIFP version 1.29.
Most of the stock airports with negative elevation are in the Netherlands and scattered throughout the Middle East and former Russian republics. However, there are a few others, some in unexpected places, several of which would appear to be due to errors in their airport definitions.
Sorry for any inconvenience.
