Hi Arno,
I have a new challenging object for you ;)
Here is a Sketchup picture of the "object":

As you can see at the marked positions there are some minor bugs in the source file.
When I convert the object from Collada to FSX-MDL-Format the textures look fine but the minor problems are naturally still there.

So in the next step I tried to convert it to 3DS and repair the errors, but look at the result. The texture mapping is completely wrong:

So the texture mapping to FSX-MDL seems to be correct but the same object converted to 3DS causes that problem.
Here is the source file (http://www.flightport.de/fileadmin/template/main/images/Bugreports/crowd.zip) with DAE, SKP and Texture files and also the 3DS-File I generated.
