View Full Version : Do you use the keyboard shortcuts?
Do you use the keyboard shortcuts in ModelConverterX? These can be used to call the different forms and functions directly.
What's a keyboard? :D
Back when DOS was King, I resented the introduction of the mouse, as I had every keyboard command for Lotus123, WordPerfect, etc. memorized...
Now days though, I resent having to take my hand OFF of the mouse to reach for the keyboard! :rotfl:

It's so easy to use with a mouse that I never even bothered to try the keyboard shortcuts. :)

There are keyboard shortcuts?
I'll have to try those.
Check the manual, it lists all the shortcuts there are :D.
I many programs I prefer to use keyboard shortcuts, especially if that prevents you from moving your mouse over the entire screen all the time. But in ModelConverterX I must say I also don't use them so much myself.

Hi I haden't even noticed there were shortcuts ...
Now I can scan a library with ctrl-X and ctrl-Z
Unfortunately X and Z are not relevant on a french KB
Anyway its easier than mouse-clicking arrows
Until now I mainly used Ctrl-<key> for the shortcuts. Maybe it would make more sense to use key directly for simple navigation tasks. Like N for next and P for previous object (although I choose Ctrl-X and Ctrl-Z now because they are located next to each other).

That is fair on Eng KB. But on french ones we have
AZER
QSDF
WXCV
Of course I don't know about cyrillic or arabic ones
Ah, yes of course. I forgot about the difference between AZERTY and QWERTY.
Maybe I should just use the arrow keys for this, that would make even more sense :).
