Comrades: Does anybody of you know how much polygon are allowed
for a FSX aircraft so that the sim runs with nice FPS?

The updated SDK is currently in beta test and should hopefully be released soon. The SDK document mentions that the more complex aircraft in FSX have a top level LOD 400 count of approx 25,000 triangles. You could go higher if you want. You could create and compile a test aircraft adding high triangle count primitives or subdivided parts - make sure they are textured, as materials also impact performance - Then see how performance is affected.

..good to know that at time. Currently I have hit this number already.
Just now I experiment with exporting to the sim, so I can test it in a
steady flow of examples.
