Writing On Texture :mad:

Dear all,

I have recentley started editing and creating textures. I convert the dds texture to JPEG's then edit them and convert them back to DDS. The only problem i have expierence is that when i view it on flight sim the writing appears backwards with letters the wrong way round. Could someone please tell me how to fix this, also if anyone knows a good program to edit textures in as i use Photoshop CS3 at the moment to do this.

Hi,

Do you mean that the texture appears vertical flipped? That is a common "problem" when using DDS textures. If you use ImageTool to convert them, they will be automatically flipped. Else you need to do it yourself when you save the DDS file.
