Of course. You would have to reinstall the entire SDK sequence however to get back to where you want to be...

As for myself though, all aircraft projects will be built/updated to full SP2 SDK compliance, so it isn't even a consideration for me... ;)

I know from a development point of view you can only work with the latest, but I have a couple of add-ons, one of which I KNOW will require a patch for SP2. I'm just wondering what the deal for my other add-ons will be.

I still very much have mixed feelings over the situation with FSX service packs. They should never break things, but that obviously isn't the case here. :(

I totally take back what I said - it appears to be OK! I think I fell into the trap of believing everything I read. ;)

Performance is improved by around 15% I'd say. I'm easily punching 100 FPS after lift-off. On the ground I get around 40 FPS. Textures seem fine etc...

Won't work with Max 2008 though, so no need to upgrade if you haven't yet.

I've never understood why Autodesk refuses to fully support earlier script and plugin formats... :eek:

Nor do I, but I decided that I am not allowed to learn how to do scripts... or I'll need another two lifetimes. =)

Maybe to make them upgrade scripts, but his point is that you don't want to upgrade when you get everything working and it won't work with the newer version.

How does breaking script compatibility make you upgrade??? :confused:
