Evening,

I just started playing around with ADE and I am enjoying it so far. One problem that I seem to be having is that I can't compile stock airports. Is there a step or something else I am missing? I can edit and save it, but as soon as I try to compile it to a .bgl I get a rather large error message saying:

INTERNAL COMPILER ERROR: #C2031: Failed element parse <BoundaryFence>
INTERNAL COMPILER ERROR: #C2032: XML Parse Error! Element tree follows:

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Rowcoach welcome to the forums

can you give us more info on your FSX and any updated service packs for the SDK
is this a problem with all airports or one in particular
and are you using the latest version of ADE

i take it you have you pointed your path to where your SDK FSX compiler is as it seems to want to compile....
from the settings/options/folders
one path should be to your "FSX BglComp"
and the other to your flight sim "FS Folder"

Hi Ray -

Thanks for the welcome. I just went on to fsinsider.com and found the next to last update of SDK. Once I installed it I went back and tried to compile one of the stock airports and success!

I was playing with CYWG and I was getting the same error message everytime. This wasn't the case with .bgl files I worked on - just stock airports (I tried a few and came up with the same results). Now that I have updated my SDK file, everything is good.

Most of this is still a foreign language to me, so I'm sure I'll be here a lot to look for help.

Thanks again.
