We have just released a patch for 1.20. This solves some bugs and adds some small extra functionality. It is available via the online-updater. Help > Check For Update. This will download a new installer file that will update 1.20 to 1.21. The changes are:
Fixed regional setting problem that caused failure on start up for some regional settings
Fixed bug that caused modes not to change without going through pointer mode first
Fixed undo problem when adding a new terrain polygon or vector
Added access to hydro polys
Added thumbnails to land classes courtesy of Holger Sandmann
Added terrain vectors such as roads
Unlocked 'Display Only' objects
Users can now set the heading of generic buildings in the properties dialog
Users can now choose to keep source Xml after compile
Please read the release notes for Version 1.21 before using. These will be found from your Start > All Programs > Airport Design Editor > Help

This patch has been temporarily withdrawn. We accidently left a couple of debug only options in the release build. These are the Exclusion List and Airport Tree. The Airport Tree just shows the currently project in a tree form and does nothing else. The exclusion list displays all the exclusions in the project. Generally it is safe to single click on these but double clicking will cause a crash. So if you have already downloaded the new patch please do not use these debug features (however tempting that may be ;)) Version 1.22 will be up shortly to hide these options. They will be available in a later release but are not ready yet :)
Jon
As per your request.
2nd post, I accidentally started new thread, sorry.

Sounds good Jon & company!
I look forward to it.
Jon
Martin sorted out the problem.
It was due to a incorrect initial install of 120.
Too soon old, to late smart.
Regards
Rennie,
I am glad we got this sorted out.
Snuffy,
I am sure that we now have cornered your problem. You have a mail from me.

Jon, when I click on the help icon in the top right hand corner of the tool bar, nothing happens ?? The help icon just changes from blue to orangey colour, but no drop down menu ??Any thing I've done wrong ? Everything else on the programme working fine so far !

No - to be honest I have never seen that. If you have ADE maximised try making it smaller and see if you can get a menu up then
Hi. The computer I use for my game and ADE ,never goes on the web, so my question is, how will I download the update if one must go through ADE?. thanks.

Well that is an interesting one. ADE in common with a lot of other applications uses an on-line updater. I assume from what you are saying that you never use downloadable weather etc on your FSX machine? Let me talk to the team about this
