to have a parking spot WITHOUT a runway?
I have a requirement whereby it would suit me to be able to have a parking spot or 2 at a location to be able to load the sim at,but without the need for a runway is this possible?
No problem if it isn't.

Theoretically it is possible I think. aother way is to add a non runway start

Go through the process of a normal airfield, site it where you want and make any scenery add ons you need. Then after you try it and are happy with it set the runway to a width of 1 metre multiplied by a short length where possible.

This will give you an invisible runway but an FSX locatable Airport code and it will be GPS enabled too. Hope that is what you need. So to all intents and purposes it does not look like an airport/airfield.

I suppose its a bit like doing a water runway whereby you set the width to a minimum so that it doesn't show.
