    Hi Arno,
I've just downloaded and installed ModelConverter11 as I can't get ACM to work with FSX models.

Possibly a stupid question, but having imported an FSX model, are the gridlines in meters? Thought I'd better ask as I'm trying to get it to emulate the functions of ACM and as the aircraft.cfg file coordinates are in feet, wish to know if I have to multiply everything by 3.3 to get the coordinate values or if there is a way of getting x,y,z coordinates from your program?

    Many thanks in advance!
    Dave.

    Hello Arno,
ModelConverterX ( latest version) is a really superb tool and has allowed me to convert my large collection of API macros to mdl files that can be used by my Instant Scenery object placer.
However I cannot succesfully export any api files that I have created myself using EOD. MCX imports my EOD api files perfectly , but when I attempt to export them I get many "normal" errors "syntax " errors etc. I have tried to ignore normal errors in the options tab , but no go. I have tried a simple cube object produced in EOD in the hope of eliminating possible construction errors , still no luck.
Can EOD produced macros actually be converted with MCX ?

Even if MCX cannot handle EOD files, it will still come in useful as it can easily and quickly import and display them, so removing the need for me to load them into FS9 via FSSC for preview purposes.

    Thank you

    Maurice

I am sure that you are bombarded with q's. I'll add another and thank you profusely for any help or direction. I am trying to compile my xml mission file into an spb file to make it run faster. Have followed SDK's instructions explicitly and continue to get a parsing error at the command prompt when I execute simpropcompiler 2spb ... etc. Any advise? Thanks.
