• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Maybe some people already know that I am currently working on Airbus Finkenwerder (EDHI). It will surely take a few more months until I can deliver a beta version to my testers. Even though only half of the buildings to be built are ready (and of course all the little things that make an...

    MSFS The port of Peenemünde

Peenemünde is a small town on the German Baltic coast. The name Peenemünde is very well known from the times of WW II, because the rocket development of NAZI Germany took place here. The V1 and V2 rockets were developed and tested here. But fortunately that was a long time ago. Today there are...

MSFS The port of Hamburg in MSFS

The port of Hamburg in MSFS - actually the port looks quite nice in the sim. Most of the buildings on the north shore are correct and have been created by the AI quite respectable. Only all the objects that are in the water like pontoons, the docks of Blohm & Voss, the landing bridges and much...

    Create own scenery lights?

Does anyone know a way to create custom scenery lights in MSFS? The 3 out of the box available spotlights are partly too bright for my scenery. I would like to have some weaker lights in some places. I have already searched in the WPSystem folder for the lights to possibly adjust them, but...

It has a clear height of 53 m, so that even...

The "Norther Elbe Bridge" is a freeway bridge in the course of the Autobahn 1 from Hamburg to Lübeck and further to Puttgarden. Because of its red supporting cables that look like rubber bands, it is also popularly known as the "rubber band bridge". It was completed in 1963 and can no longer...

    Glass reflection effect

Hi guys, I have a question about the texture setting "Use global environment map as refelction" in the MCX. I would like to use this setting for large glass areas. However, the effect is too violent for me. Many of the window panes appear in complete white (see picture below). So my question...

Create your own AI ship traffic

Hello friends, already in 2015 I wrote an extensive tutorial on how to create your own AI ship traffic (with Henrik Nielsens and my ship models) for FSX and P3D. Since I hadn't found the time to translate the tutorial yet, it was only available in German and I was asked again and again if it...

    Problem with XML Installation

After the now finished "Birds Air Route" I have chosen the port of Hamburg for the year 2019 on multiple request. Since the performance over Hamburg in the P3D isn't the best anyway, I can't say yet with certainty what the final scope of the project will be. It is clear that it...
