• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

    Oh, that's probably the issue then. I think I just used the FSX SDK shp2vec and bgl comp paths for this. Didn't even think of that. Where can I find the P3D v4.4 SDK exe's? EDIT: Yep got the P3D SDK from LM's site (I guess I had a really really old ADEX that I was using for FSX hehe)...

    Oops I meant offset threshold. But I did put one in anyway, I think it's the only way to make AI aircraft taxi to that spot and takeoff. I wish there was a way to make it transparent or something and just leave the taxiway textures in place.

    Thanks I didn't have the manual so I downloaded it. The Overrun is definitely NOT what this is. I do not clear aircraft for takeoff from the the far east of the threshold... I do clear the fighter jets for takeoff from that diagonal taxiway and they know to taxi up to the 27 threshold...

    There isn't a displaced threshold in the scenery. It's just a taxiway leading up to the runway. Also I searched the online help, and google for offset threshold... where is this located in ADE? Maybe the real airport is marked wrong, but according to google image searches it looks correctly...

    I fixed the hold shorts but I'm going to need a way to make a "fake" runway end so the fighters can use the green area and think they're at the end of the runway. I have been going through the help system and haven't noticed anything about how to do this.

    Oh yeah I see that. My airport is a little different though... do you know how I would allow airplanes to taxi onto an "approach?" or hold short of an approach? At duluth the fighters taxi and hold short of Ry 27 APCH. Then we clear them for takeoff. Any idea on how to allow that in ADE?

    Hmmm, the hold shorts are per real world. They're aligned with the photo background. I guess it's not a big issue to move them up a little.

    I don't use AI but a guy who is testing this says his military jets won't taxi to the runway... I think they just disappear when they would start a taxi. All the links seem connected in ADE. What am I missing
