• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

FSX My 1st scenery project - Alexandria "El Nozha" Airport

Hello guys,

I'm happy to announce that my 1st scenery project is under construction!
I'm making Alexandria "El Nozha" Airport (HEAX).
The scenery will include custom buildings, as accurate as possible placing of objects, real parking positions, real dimensions and also I will cover a big area around the airport with satellite 18x Imagery.
Moreover, this will have seasonal textures, that is Winter, Summer, Fall/Spring and also Night textures.

Looks good! I am intrigued by the little "checkerboards" on the ramp! :D

Also one little thing: I believe it looks like the tower/terminal model should be a bit larger to cover itself on the photoreal ground ;)

Hehe, yes you're right!

This screen is very early as you can see, everything is going to be fixed soon, but for now I am modeling the terminal.
I will scale the terminal a bit so that it fits, but I'm afraid that sometimes satellite images are taken from an angle, resulting in things being shown
a little bit larger than they actually are ;)

Hello JPetroSS it looks verry good.

Is it possible that you can make this scenery also for fs2004
Are you also planning to build more scenery`s of Egyption airports.

Well, I may do a FS2004 version as well though I'm not sure wether the satellite textures will work there :confused:

JPetroSS looks verry good.
I realy hope you wil make also the fs2004 version of the Egyptian airports iam sure that you wil make a lot of FS2004 flightsimmers happy including me

Well, I'm working on Alexandria now.
My other project for Mykonos will most probably come next.
It had to be paused as I have to solve some issues with SBuilder-X.

Actually , I have done a scenery for both El Nozha and Borg Al Arab Intl. in one package and it's name was ( Approaching Alex X ) , Can be found on flightsim.com !

But Your Scenery is so Beautiful and is of higher quality !

If you need help , I can help you , As I had spot airplanes at El Nozha in the Summer times .. !

Are those scenery`s going to be payware or freeware
Please please please make those Egyptian scenery`s also for FS2004 becourse there are stil no good scenery`s of Egyptian Airports.

Freeware of course! These are not even close to payware quality my friend!
I'll do my best to make this for fs2004 too.

I will need some time to make this airport as I want though.......
It is still on a very early stage.
