Nothing shows up on FXEditor

Hi,
This looks like a really good program, well done. Nice layout and icons.
Only problem is i cant get anything to work on the FXEditor.
Ive got WIN 7 Home Premium, 64 bit.
Intel core 2 Duo E7500 2.93ghz
3gb Memory
N520GT graphics card.
i get the programme running and get a grid on the blue screen area, when i load an effect in nothing appears. Even the default FSXA ones do nothing.
Maybe ive done something wrong ?
Also it keeps telling me theres and updated version which i have downloaded already. Just thought you should be made aware of these issues.

Unfortunately, there are no "instructions" for using the program.

Load a default .fx file into the program.

Adjust the x,y or z position(s) by 1m in any direction.

Click on the Apply button to see the effect in the sim. The position sliders will only increment/decrement in 1m steps, so if you need a decimal, you'll have to type it in manually.

No problem. It took me awhile to "stumble" onto the solution to the non-display problem.

I use the tool a lot when developing new .fx files.

Hi,

I am a bit confused, are we talking about my FXEditor here (which does not have direct interaction with FS) or about the SDK effect editor?

Now I am confused as well! If he was asking about your utility, and I gave instructions for the SDK effect editor (visualfxtool.dll), then my answer should have been of no help whatever!
