Question How to add autogen houses to FSX/UTX?

I am new to scenery design, just getting up to speed with ADE.

In one small area near an ADE-improved airport (CSU3 Saint-Hyacinthe), UTX has inserted roads with no autogen buildings (there are a couple of trees, but no houses). In reality, this is a housing development near Sainte-Madeleine, with lots of small bungalows. It's probable that there were no buildings there when FSX and UTX were released 'way back in 2006.

Is there any way I can correct the autogen to add houses to this small area?

If so, what would be the best approach for a newbie? I suppose I could use ADE to add individual houses, but is there a smarter way? Is the Annotator the best tool? SBuilderX?

Your ideas would be appreciated.

it's said you have to have a photoreal background to work with autogen annotator, so only could be with individual buildings and object placement tool, or get some kind of photoreal texture for the zone. you can eliminat this afterwards.

Or put down a landclass poly with SBuilderX.

Thank you, Bernardo and Jim, for those suggestions.

For now, I am having fun learning how to use Instant Scenery 2 to populate that small area with all sorts of objects!

I believe Instant Scenery 2 FSX BGLs will work just fine in P3d... Place items in FSX and move the BGLs to P3d.
