Clearing Vegitation?

I am trying to back date Midway Island to the way it was in 1942 (Battle of Midway).

How do you get rid of the autogen vegatation?

is this for fs9 or FSX, and what version of ADE are you using

This is for FSX and I have the latest version of ADE.

O/k! Try using a Polygon, then Tag/Exclude AutoGen,
if you want to do anything else in this area other than remove vegetation, then you may need to use one of the other Tags

I found the problem. Somehow ADE got damaged and was not generating the file that contains the exclusion information.

I reinstalled ADE and it is now working correctly.
