• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

Yes, BCIA(Beijing Capital International Airport) is one of our biggest projects. Skysoftsimulation mainly focus on Chinese airports, but will also try making airports in some nearby coutries/Regions. 2012 will be a year of bigger airports, you will see famous airports with double or triple runways done by S.S :D

That's great news. Asia really deserves more accurate sceneries. But please don't forget FSX support! I only fly FSX and do not want to miss out those great locations....

Kind regards, Chris

Skysoft Simulation ZULS 2012 on final!

Lhasa Gonggar Airport (IATA: LXA, ICAO: ZULS) is located in Gyazuling township of the Gonggar County and is the hub for Tibet Airlines. It is built on the bank of the magnificent Yarlung Tsangpo River (the Brahmaputra River) . At an elevation of 3500m(11500ft) above sea level, the airport is one of the highest in the world. Its runway, with airport rank 4E, at 4,000 metres (13,000 ft) with a width of 45 metres (148 ft), is designed to handle wide-bodied aircraft in the thin Tibetan air. The airport can fully accommodate jumbo jets like Boeing 747 and Airbus 340-300 to take off and land. Lhasa Gonggar Airport was upgraded in 2001 and started to serve on January 1st, 2004. The newly built apron can park 5 Airbus 340s or 7 Boeing 757s at a time. The terminal area is about 25000㎡ and has the facility to check in 1,300 passengers per hour during peak hours. A new runway (4000m*45m) marked 09L-27R has been built and the former runway is used for taxiing purpose. Pilots landing at Lhasa Gonggar Airport must be specially trained in handling manoeuvres at landing at the high altitude. Given the frequency of strong air currents picking up in the afternoon most flights into the airport are scheduled in the morning.

information of the airport is provided by wikipedia
