naval carrier based aircraft for FSX-A

There are some decent carrier-based aircraft, such as the IRIS S-3B series by converted to FSX from FS9, that I would like to be able to use in conjunction with the FSX Acceleration catapults and arresting wires.

I have read thru the Catapult/Arrestor Operations Wiki, and I understand the aircraft.cfg files can be edited. But how to know the right measurements for the launch bar pivot point and lug point? Sorry, not a programmer, just trying to build some missions for the S-3 and other naval aircraft in FSX, so thanks for your patience in advance -- appreciate if you can point me in the right direction.

I did, by the way, see that a fellow over on the Aerosoft boards, James, added launch bars and tailhooks to a number of other aircraft (almost none of the carrier based in real life). Just can't see where he got those values...

I found some great naval aircraft by Rick Sasala that have been modified for FSX but the launch bar doesn't move and launch assistance doesn't work. I see there is a way to do that (I found a Wiki on this site), and I would like to try to modify these aircraft (eg, the S-3, E-2C and C-2 COD) that Rick did so that they can launch and recover from the acceleration carrier.

I have a couple questions right off the bat.

Question 1 -- where do I find the fsx.cfg file? Where is the [Realism] section?

fsx.CFG
In the [Realism] section.
Add/edit to enable -

CatapultForceLimiter=1 - Only fighter type aircraft can be catapulted.
CatapultForceLimiter=0 - Any type of aircraft can be catapulted.

Question 2 -- how to use the marker tool by Lamont Clark to set the correct measurements for the launch bar? Any instructions out there for it?
