New version slower?

I've been using the latest version and it seems (on my system at least) that any editing lacks behind the actual mouse click by a second. The version prior to the latest version did not.

No there is no performance difference that I am aware of.

It seems to be when I have a background image in use. No biggie, I can live with it.

Cheers

There has always been a problem of performance with larger background images. The advice is to stay around 100k for a jpg. We hope to fix this in an upcoming version.

Hi Jon

Mine is 220K which is the problem I guess. Thanks for the replies. Really getting into ADE. IMHO its better than some payware designers.

You could probably reduce that to ~100k by slightly reducing the quality of the compression.
