• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

I thought I would start a new thread for the new version... The old thread says Fs2004...

Here are some screenies of the project being 'taylored' to FSXA... Some things are going in easier than others, but Arno's tools are making it possible... I made a taxiway edge light with an attached effect, modified the effect and effect bmp to work... still needs some tweeking...

Lokking real fine. IPerhaps some color correction on the photoreal for the FSX version, to fine tune it a bit more?

Also, check the thread name... :)

Also, these are summer textures... I dont have a set for spring or fall... only summer and winter, so it may look odd for spring...
 
Ok, this thing is almost ready to upload, I have no hair left chasing treelines, but... tweeks here and there, some new effects made custom for the taxiway lights outside of LOD distance. (but not too far.... i think its a good balance), and some grasses scattered here and there...

I just have to make a tree object set for winter, check a couple more things, and I think its ready to upload and get my rear-end on to the next project... (42VA_X)

Im ready to move on, but is anyone out there like me, a perfectionist and cant keep from tweeking and fiddling??? :)

Yes, here is one... I havent made a bgl with the season change for the tree GUIDs, but it almost looks ok without it :)

I WILL make a summer tree-set....

Thanks for looking guys, scenery is uploaded to the usual suspects... (Finally!!!)

I did get an email from a fella about some of the AI not working right.... apparently, I didnt link the parking spots properly... I thought I did, but, I'll have to look into that, and upload the ADEX file ....

Thanks to Jim Robinson for suggesting I separate the airport and object files... This way I only have to update one file, and not the seasonal trees file!!!! Thanks Jim !!!!

Thanks again guys, now on to KGFL and 42VA for X!!!!!

Jim, thanks for the screenies!!! they look great... alot better than the ones I posted, for sure!

I just bought that plane a couple days ago... love it!!! Carenado makes some of the best GA planes, by far, I had to buy the 210HD and the Baron58... too much fun...

I think KGFL needs to be next... gotta do it!!!
