Placing fs2002 gamepack gmax files
I have just had quick try at placing a gound poly I exported from gmax with the fs2002 gamepack. Following the forum threads I entered the coordinates in the makemdl interface then ran the asm file though bglc. My question is is there a quick and easy way to re-place these objects other than going through gmax and mdl etc again? (I know with the fs2004 pack you use mdls so you can use object placer/ez scenery etc).
Thanks |

Yes, i think. The coordinates are probably stored in one of the asm files. I just don't know where and which is the format ( hexadecimal, etc... ).
Other users with more experience in asm coding can explain better than me. FeRgO |

The coordinates are indeed stored in some hexadecimal format in the ASM file. But they are very hard to tweak manually, so it is much easier to export again from GMax.
