Sending Metar to FSX
Hi all,
has some one tried (and succeeeded) in sendeing metar to FSX for update the weather ? I' am stuck by an "invalid metar" exception with any kind of metar I try to use with SimConnect_WeatherSetObservation , even when getting the metar from FSX, and sending it back to fsx without changing anything, or when using one of the examples of metar given in the SDK ... As I can see in the SimConnect Diagnostic Window, the metar is correct when passed. Any idea (very) wellcome... thanks Regards, Robert |

I have the same problem when I send back the observed METAR. However if I remove the altitude extension (after the ICAO code, a FS extension), ie LFXA&A251 021623Z ... -> LFXA 021623Z ... it works well.
But if you cannot set even the simplest metar like "ICAO 010203Z NIL" that's another problem |
