    Guenther,

    Thank you!
    I have patience, otherwise these ships wouldn't have been built.
    And I know there's always a solution and most of the times it's an easy one.

    Working in FSDS you always take a model that comes close to your model to get the basis for the aircraft.cfg and the air file. I left that as it was and tested it in FS9 for functionality. That worked. The only thing that was really off was the portion of the ship that was above the waterline. I changed the CG from the cfg file and all the contactpoints accordingly, i.e. exactly the amount I changed the CG. That's what I did and it works, while the boat lies in the water as it should. Here it is. Remove the txt extension.

    Thanks for all your effort and trouble!

    sorry, doesnt work for me,

    only if I use these values:

    point.0 = 4, 40, -10, +3.5, 9999, 0, 1, 5, 0.9, 15.5, 0.65, 0, 0, 2, 0, 0
    point.1 = 4, 40, 10, +3.5, 9999, 0, 1, 5, 0.9, 15.5, 0.65, 0, 0, 3, 0, 0
    point.2 = 4, -40, -10, +3.5, 9999, 0, 1, 0, 0.9, 15.5, 0.65, 0, 0, 2, 0, 0
    point.3 = 4, -40, 10, +3.5, 9999, 0, 1, 0, 0.9, 15.5, 0.65, 0, 0, 3, 0, 0
    point.4 = 1, 0, 0, +3.5, 9999, 0, 1, 0, 0.9, 15.5, 0.65, 5, 5, 3, 0, 0

    strange...

    do you use a terrain addon perhaps?

    I use NL2000, perhaps that the reason?

    No G√ľnther. Strange. I'll send it to some betatesters. If they draw the same conclusion I must revise the file.
