If I already have a building created in Gmax but I want to change the scale to make it bigger can I do that? I have tried going into preferences and changing the 1 unit = however many meters but that only changes the scale of the next shapes I insert. Anybody have any suggestion?

    Thanks

DO NOT change your unit preferences from 1 unit=1m !!!

If you want to scale a scene/object in gmax, you're better off selecting the object(s) and doing a uniform scale.

    Before doing any scaling...

Select all objects you wish to scale.

Add an X-Form modifier to the stack.

Now use the Uniform Scale tool to increase/decrease the size by percentage.

When done, right-click and Convert to E-Mesh or E-Poly as desired.

This will prevent any possibility of introducing an "OBED Scaling Error" into your project... :D
