    Hi,

I am working on exporting animations to the FS2004 MDL format as well, but now I have some doubt. Did exporting LODs to the FS2004 MDL format already work? I know MCX can not yet import the FS2004 LODs, but I can't remember if exporting already worked. Does anybody know?

    Hi Folks

    Arno -
    Can't confirm either way,
as its a long time since I'd LOD'd anything.

For the model I tested today,
build 531 does generate them within MCX,
but fails to write the export correctly
for both FS9 and FSX mdl types.

On opening the resulting mdl files, the -
    - FS9 mdl only contains the original LOD,
EDIT just re-read your post, and realised FS9 LOD import is not supported yet.

    - FSX mdl gives a zero byte file.

    Hi Paul,

I have already added it to my todolist to check the proper working of FS2004 LODs now. I guess it would also help if ModelConverterX could read them then.
