Hi My first post here. When I open FDS I am getting a message that the program says the effects folder cant be found. I know I have it because I have added to the file, how to I get FDS to find this folder?

Have you upgraded from a previous version of ADE to 1.70? In any case
    • Make sure ADE is not running. Go to the FSX folder inside the main folder and find a file called settings.ini and delete this file
    • Start ADE again and make sure that you follow the New User Wizard properly. Use the Find button to set the paths to FSX and the compilers

If they cannot be found then you probably have a problem with your registry entry for FSX.

    • Close and restart ADE and see if that clears the Effect Folder error
