• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

I also got my screen name from Navy callsign - I've got one of those hard to say (correctly) German surnames that when mispronunced sounds like "coat hanger" - being a Navy fighter squadron (VF-32 - hence the 32 part) they shortened it to Hangar and used the appropriate spelling for an aircraft hangar. I still answer to "Hey Hangar"

Re the subject of this thread - that is simply fantastic work. I do not think I have seen a more accurate P-3C model. Congratulations!

That said, being former Naval Intelligence Officer [place oxymoron jokes here] I'd love to see an EP-3

Hey, how this bird is going? :)
Also, whiche version are you planing to do? :) I would love to track storms (Hurricanes are tornadoes) with the NOAA one, with the upcoming SkyForce 3D, it would be a killer if you integrae a Weather radar (cockpit or even the cabin with with the computers :p)
its looking amazing, Keep it up MSK

Unfortunately, it has been halted and put aside. I wasn't able to find people to work with otherwise I was willing to go ahead with any ideas.

Time constraints also became a problem. I will look into it if I ever get a chance again. Everybody is still welcomed to give it a go.....

anything I can help with to revive the project? the pics have seen of the exterior look absolutely awesome.

Yes, if you can find a 3d modeller for virtual cockpit, a programmer for making instruments and custom gauges and a guy to do the flight dynamics properly than why not! haha

But I would like to see this in XPLANE 11 more.

It would be ashame not to get this beautifully modelled aircraft finished, I'm only sorry that I can't help with the VC, as I have not even attempted to model a VC yet & judging by the quality of the exterior model, the VC would have to be something special.

Its really a shame that you had to put this on the "back burner". The only P3 as nice as it is out there is the KBT. I was a ASW controller at NAS Glenview when the VP's were there in the 70's. Love to get a VP-47 Virtual Squadron going.

Not sure if it would help at all but my next door neighbor is a P-3 pilot for NOAA. He has said he would be willing to answer any questions needed for a project like this.

I hate to even ask this but if you don't think you are going to finish this project would you entertain the thought of letting me use the external model for a project I am working on?

Cheers
