Me

Male, made in 1954 near Lisbon, with an interest inMedical Biochemistry a long time ago, in an airport far away. HolyZarkon 22:05, 25 May 2007 (CEST)

And FS

I prefer small VFR aircrafts and flights, and am really not for push-button, form-filling, 18 hours IFR flights. I might end up missing the stewardesses at the end at that lowers my performance.

And FS planes

My best loved model is Milton Shupe's and friends Beechcraft D-18, aka C-45, in the Bushwhackers garment, with the Bee Gee Racer sound.

To my amazement I'm finding myself flying an ATR-42 and the occasional Learjet as of late.

And FS sceneries

  • I have been using SceneGenX. I tried out SBuilder but was confused by the interface.

Now looking for...

  • Data on Angola airports -- most are impossible to figure out on Google Earth and it seems there's no airport charts nowhere in the Web.
  • A way to edit autogen, or better, to understand WHERE does annotator put the result file.

Really nice sceneries I use

  • José Maia's LPEV -- I live nearby. Very good and almost like it; he allowed himself to put in the lighting ahead of time, but it was due a couple of years ago, together with ILS on rwy 19. More on LPEV here.
  • Also his scenery for Tires, a major small aircraft municipal airport near Lisbon. In the meantime he went for a wider project, "Descobrir Portugal" at avsim, both in 9 and X.
  • I was also surprised to find several Angolan airports slightly improved upon (aprons, lights, and taxiways). I'll put the link here when/if I find it again.

My place about FS

  • is here, in Portuguese. It contains the over 90 small airstrips down there, a few sectorfiles and a few (API) lighthouses, correction for the NDB in the middle of the rwy at LPCO, etc. etc.
  • You can also fly all my 90 small airstrip for Portugal FS9.
