The ability to use georeferenced format images for the background would be great. GeoTIFF (with or without *.tfw) and JPEG with *.jgw would be ideal. Working with WGS84 or UTM projections would cover most eventualities.
Once upon a time there was a tool/utility/addon which would show you the location of the eye point/attach point etc etc live in game. It was originally for FSX. Can anyone remember what it was called? Where can I get hold of it now?
