    I'm doing the ME334 GMAX tutorial for stupids now and I'm finding the coordinates confusing. Given the key listed in an earlier post do I just have to make sure that what I want to be the top of the aircraft is the Z axis, the front pointing in the Y direction and right in the X direction?

    Thanks for the information both on this and the coordinate systems. Any idea why they use a reverse system for some games - is it because in the end result the aircraft or object moves in the correct direction? Looking at the FSX SDK they have DirectX using left-handed with Y up, Z away...

    I also like his organizational technique. I may not know what I'm doing but I like to be organized when I do it <G>. Seriously, I like his method. I've been looking for a good way to do it. BTW what does UVW stand for? I've seen it used but not yet found a reference.

    Thanks. I'll go look at it. I appreciate it. Just looked at it - very nice. I'll have to spend some time absorbing it. I guess the best thiing to do is first go over the GMax tutorials in order and then when I get to the P-38 I'll use these techniques.
