    P3D v4 Weapons

Hi Roy, I checked out some of the aircraft on Sim Skunk Works' site, but they made it seem like their products are no longer available online. Are you sure that they're combat-enabled? Thanks again for the reply. Regards, Kevin Davis

    P3D v4 Weapons

What reason are you referring to? That the VRS Tac Pack doesn't work with P3D Professional, or that you can add weapons with the SDK?

    P3D v4 Weapons

Hi, I switched to P3D from FSX SE a couple months ago. However, one of the things I was interested in was the combat capability in aircraft such as Vertical Reality Simulations' Tac Pack. Unfortunately, before researching the addon for P3D Professional, I bought the F18 and Tac Pack products...

    XP11 Frequency Update

Hi all, I'm using XP11 along with P3d, but I haven't been able to figure out how to update comm frequencies in XP11 to match their real-world counterparts Do I use WED to do this? For P3d & FSX, I accomplished this with ADE. Any help you can provide is appreciated. Regards, Kevin Davis .

    P3D v4 ADE & Navigraph Charts

Hi fellow flight simmers & developers! I've been using Airport Design Editor (ADE) to update my airports in FSX, and now P3D4 because of too many CTD's with FSX. Since then, I've been updating the gate and jetway names at some of the airports, since the names in the Simulator are usually not...

    P3D v4 PMDG 737 Repaint

Hi Tom, Sorry for the delayed reply. So IIUC, I should go to the PMDG Operations program and find a similar livery to what I'm trying to make. After that, I just need to copy the texture into the paint program I'm using, and make the desired changes. Am I on the right track here? Will I...

    P3D v4 PMDG 737 Repaint

Hi all, I'm trying to make a livery for the PMDG 737 from scratch. However, I've looked at several YouTube videos, and all of them "assume" that the user has designed a livery already. I haven't done this, as I want to make a fictional livery. Is there any type of manual for how to do this...

    P3D v4 Can't find bglcomp & ship2vec

Ok. It works now! I made a scenery folder on my desktop, and told P3d to look there. Out of curiosity, should I uninstall P3d and put it in a folder other than ProgramFiles to avoid this issue? Thanks again, Kevin Davis

    P3D v4 Can't find bglcomp & ship2vec

Hi Doug, If I understand your previous post correctly, it seems like the issue I'm experiencing is not the location of the tools, but the location of the exported BGL file. Is this correct? Regards, Kevin Davis

    P3D v4 Can't find bglcomp & ship2vec

    Hi Doug, I indeed have 4.5.12.30293 installed. Here are the current paths in ADE: scenery.cfg Folder: C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4 FS Main Folder: C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\ BglComp Folder: C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4 SDK...

    P3D v4 Can't find bglcomp & ship2vec

Hi Doug, I verified that I have the latest version of P3d along with the SDK - and I do. I tried re-installing the SDK to see if that would fix the ADE issue, but it didn't. I am still getting the message in ADE saying that it can't compile the airport. Let me know if you need any further...

Hi Doug, Per your request, here is a screenshot of where the SDK and Sim are installed Regards, Kevin Davis

    P3D v4 Can't find bglcomp & ship2vec

To whom it may concern, I made the switch from FSX: SE to P3d v4. I tried using ADE to get rename gates and update the frequencies, but when I compiled the file, it said that it could not find the files needed in the SDK (bglcomp & ship2vec). When I installed P3d, it also installed the SDK...
