    FSX A question about Flaps

    So added the flap component to an .ini file, that will allow the user to set the position number for the desired degrees of flaps automatically using "FLAPS HANDLE INDEX" though simconnect.

    FSX A question about Flaps

    Thank you all for your insight on this issue, As it stands I am thinking the best approach to a solution is add the flap component to an .ini file though would allow the user to manually set them for the gauge. I will post on how it makes out. thanks again, Greg

    FSX A question about Flaps

    Thanks to you both, its for a generic autopilot with (for lack of a better word) Co-pilot feature that when triggered, it will turn on any lights that were forgotten, pitot, de-ice, ect. I am trying to include (again generic) way to place flaps a minimum angles for take-off and landing...

    FSX A question about Flaps

    Hello All, Searching the forums and the SDK it appears the use of flaps can be limiting. Does anyone know a way to have the ability to set flaps to a specific angle? i.e 15 degrees. As every aircraft is different and based on the aircraft config I am trying to figure out how to get it close to...

    FSX MACH Speed Display Issue

    Over thought this one.... the answer is send_key_event(KEY_AP_MACH_VAR_SET, (int)(ap[1].mach * 100)); this gives the right numbers in the MACH VAR display.

    FSX MACH Speed Display Issue

    I am currently working on a C++ gauge with Doug that involves an autopilot. Although most of this portion is completed and working as expected, there seems to be an issue between the gauge input versus the display on the panel (via an xml gauge) with regards to the MACH variable . When the...

    FSX Highlighting Text in C++

    Thank you Sir, Read the Wiki and the Direct 2D may be the best approach for what I am attempting to do. So I am thinking draw a rectangle have the test scroll through it and then hopefully have whatever alert is in the rectangle be selected for access of information on the other two pages. Will...

    FSX Highlighting Text in C++

    Hello all, I have been working (more to the point "Learning") with Doug Dawson on a ELT/Direction Finding Receiver to learn C++ coding. It is really exciting to what we have managed to achieve with C++ over XML (truthfully would be hard pressed to go back due to limitations of XML) and I believe...

    Three Way Rocker Switch Bitmaps

    Hello everyone, I was curious if anyone has bitmaps for a three way rocker switch they would be willing to share? I am looking of course for the up, center and down bitmaps for a project I am starting. Thanks for you consideration. Greg

    Good evening Bill, I was wondering if you would be willing to help me out. Having realized that writing in XML is limiting, I have taken it upon myself to learn to write in C++. Don't know the first thing about it, Would you be willing to provide some of your time to assist me? I would be will...

    ATC RADAR SQUAWK

    Good Morning all, The code I provided highlights the FSX stock Aircraft tag in red when an individual "Squawks" Code 0000. When the IDENT button is pushed the tag changes colour for 15 seconds? or more (I really can't remember how long, but will look next time I am on the sim). It provides no...

    ATC RADAR SQUAWK

    Here is a Squawk Code available from FS Open. I originally asked for the permission to use and they seemed open to the idea feeling it was a simple code piece (Yah Right!). Bob is right in it is all in the (C:ITrafficInfo). Never liked the "quit" statements, just haven't got to change them yet...
