Simdirector on Prepar3D V4.2 a good alternative to Instant Scenery 3

Hi,

For information

I was an user of Instant Scenery 3, until Prepar3D V3.x, and i found very nice quick tool to placing exactly objects
but, sadly, Instant Scenery 3 seems will never arrive on V4.x

So, because i'm developping for Prepar3DV4.x only, i search for a tool, and i take a look again, to Simdirector,
(the inner tool of Prepar3D), until the last version (4.2), the tools, was not bad to do the same thing that instant scenery,
with the posibility, to see the objects in a window, and GUI was mostly ok, for me, but the big "load time", each time that
i call the Tool from Prepar3D menu, make that i not want to use it

But, the Version 4.2 change all..., Simdirector, start very quickly, and it's a real good news.

For make .bgl, you can simply export as .bgl, to save, the scenerys, must be save on simdirector format also, to not loose them

Once I start use Simdirector, I found a very smart tool, with a easy learn process.

Rightnow, i not wait anymore for Instant Scenery 3, for developing for Prepar3D V4.2 (and futures 4.x), is not necessary anymore

I am Talking about the "object placing utility", the "polygonal tool", well, hopefully, we can still use SbuilderFSX... even for P3DV4

Cheers

Hi!

Thanks for your input. Sorry to bring this up after 3 years :D To be honest never tried simdirector. I would use SimDirector only to place the object for coordinates. Is the placement file and the coordinates are readable somehow later?
