• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

    MSFS Emissive Multiplier

I've tried your suggestions, and unfortunately I didn't saw any difference beetween values 0 and 50. The process that I follow: 1. FS already running in Developer mode, my aircraft project is opened. - Taking screenshot from the light effects. 2. Open .gltf file with Notepad++ from the...

    MSFS Emissive Multiplier

Thanks so much, mamu! Meantime I have checked these values, and found it all zero - but in FS my landing lights looks like approx. 75 on the first post's picture in this topic. Other section of my gltf file looks like this: As you'll see, there's no any 'emissiveFactor' rows... I'm still...

MSFS Maybe useful and interesting info for you...

A little something for you to read, y'all 😄 My problem was: Given two engines with two, three-position (off - aux tank - main tank) fuel levers. The animation of the levers worked, the debugger window visibly changed the appropriate values, but wherever I turned the levers, only the main tanks...

MSFS How to create simple indicator lamps with emissive effect?

Hi Devs, I have reached the point in the development of my airplane where I need to make different indicator lights. I've read through the threads here and elsewhere, but the solutions of this problem are quite confusing or complicated for me. Maybe someone here has made such lights and could...

    MSFS Pilot figures

This is the smartest and most useful code I've seen lately, thank you so much! Works like a charm! Maybe there is a similar code for passengers? So there's a name for passengers instead of PILOT_VIS or COPILOT_VIS...maybe PASSENGER1_VIS or something?

    MSFS MSFS Door Animation

Maybe a stupid question...but those "LHC" names means some custom/special code or effect? I am aware of the meaning of the acronym LHC -> means Lion Heart Creations. So if I copy these rows in 1:1 to my own xml, but edit LHC to any other acronym, my aircraft's doors will be work?

MSFS gear animation don't work in sim | please help

Thank you for your reply, I am not an inveterate forum poster, I come here when I'm out of idea...that happened now. :) Yes, of course, I've looked at other developers' solutions, but no luck - most of them use the same process, which doesn't work on my aircraft. I came from X-Plane 11 where any...

MSFS gear animation don't work in sim | please help

I have exactly the same problem, and I can't fix it. 1. In Blender, NLA name is 'Gear_Center', animated as 0-100 extend/retract, 101-200 steering (objects linked each other as needed, but some objects doesn't need steering so this parts animated 0-100 and placed a "dummy" keyframe to 200)...

Thanks for the answers, guys! Yeah I'll copy my Gmax object name to between <part> </ part>, and of course, the xml and makemdl.exe is in the same folder. I got no any error message during compiling, everything run as it should be. I still remember those days, when I made my aircrafts with...
