• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

    That should be fine as long as your lock object does not have any transparencies. FS 2004 models with transparency do not appear correctly in FSX.

    I assume you added the oil stain texture to the GP menu using the choice in the tools menu? Something like GP texture editor.

    You can do that. When you’re in the GP editor, select all the vertices and use the rotate buttons.

    If it works without the stub file, I would leave it out. The stub file is created by ADE automatically if you change the name or elevation of the airport, using the tool in the tools menu.

    In some cases, I could never change the elevation of the default airport without things being at the wrong elevation, even with a stub file. I’m not sure why. Anyway, elevation changes can cause issues that are very difficult to solve. I would first try removing any stub file for that airport...

    You probably have your sim installed in a protected folder, and windows is not allowing you to compile to anywhere but the desktop. Several people have that problem.

    Have you changed the elevation of the airport from the default elevation? Do you have a stub file in the scenery/world/scenery folder?

    If you load the library BGL file into MCX, you can use the green arrows at the upper left to move between objects.     Assuming the flight from X to Y occurs in one day, the plane will sit at airport Y from Monday until Friday, which is five days. Then it will return to airport X on Friday and sit there until Sunday. And yes, that flight is possible with AIFP.
