I have a Nvidea 1070 with 8GB. I see the left-hand sphere is highly 'pixelated'. This causes a flickering of sorts on the left handed sphere as I move the aircraft. There are no yellow or gray blips. 1080p monitor settings.

The x-file->bgl creates a library object BGL. That needs to be added to the simobjects folder by Whisplacer.
The resulting BGL from Whisplacer is a placement BGL.
It doesn't contain the actual model. The Library object BGL came from MCX.

I saved the WTC_MDM as an x file and then re-imported it, then saved as a FSX BGL.
Remember to do 'maintenance' in order to add the object to FSX Simobjects folder.

I would say everyone using FSX should probably start using the Steam version. It will ensure a few more years of being able to use your collections of addons.
I would also say that everyone using FSX might consider a move to P3D in the future. Steam and Dovetail won't offer FSX in perpetuity...
My test reveals SHP2VEC will reject shapefiles that are not ESPG:4326.
I don't believe that the CVX bgls are corrected, as FS9 terrain BGLS will display in FSX. This leads me to believe they are not corrected at all, but it is the terrain display of both FSX and P3D.
