• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    MSFS20 Coding xml SIDs/STARs/Approaches - A small tutorial

To be honest, both MSFS base and Navigraph got up to date navaids for ZUUU. The only problem with the auto generated airport is that runways are not named correctly, especially runway 02L/20R. You just need to pay attention that your runways are correctly named as 02L/20R and 02R/20L (and not 2R...

MSFS20 How to implement RF legs with arc center point/fix ?

Hi everyone, I hope this time someone knows how to do with this question. As FlyByWire released their new custom flight plan manager, all my RF legs from the procedure I created are ignored because I did not declare any arc center point. Below is a picture of one of the procedure arcs and the...

    MSFS20 Coding xml SIDs/STARs/Approaches - A small tutorial

Sure, they appear as constraints in the flight plan and are displayed on ND. I just need to add speed constraints to appear also on ND, but no option for that in the Leg element...

MSFS20 Speed constraints in procedures and navdata

Hi everyone, I have now been coding many navdata that are missing for some airports, but I was wondering how to add speed constraints. Sometimes when activating constraints in A320 we can see speeds written in purple next to some waypoints and the ATC will ask to maintain this speed or below. I...

    MSFS20 Coding xml SIDs/STARs/Approaches - A small tutorial

Try to go in your content.xml file (two folders above community folder) and put your scenery above navigraph-navdata. Navigraph seems to have a delete All Procedures option. So if the sim read navigraph package after your scenery, it will delete your procedures. Hope this will help you

MSFS20 Problem with Navigraph and MSFS default Navdata differences

Thank you for your reply. And yes my problem? is the second point as I use some existing VOR that have different region in msfs and Navigraph, so I should declare it in a new region to make it unique and use my own. Yesterday I just created two packages, one for Navigraph and one for MSFS. The...

MSFS20 Problem with Navigraph and MSFS default Navdata differences

Thanks for your reply, I will try. But what if the waypoint is used by many airports around? If I delete it to use it for mine, does other default airports that are using it will find it? Because for other airports msfs code should find the waypoint in its real region, so my airport will work...

MSFS20 Problem with Navigraph and MSFS default Navdata differences

Hi everyone, I just bought Navigraph to try it for the first time and have been very impressed with the updates for most airports navaids around the world. But because AIRAC cycle is different between Navigraph and MSFS, how to make an airport SID and STAR available for people who have...

MSFS20 Big help needed : Airport discarded as it cannot find airport in ICAO index list

I got the problem several times. By my side, I used to remove the package from community, delete the package line from content.xml file, then start the game and delete cache. Then, I close MSFS, put the package back into the community and then it reappears.

MSFS20 Big help needed : Airport discarded as it cannot find airport in ICAO index list

I just restarted MSFS again and the airport is back without doing anything...very weird. Also as you said, I am used to empty the community folder for each update, so this was not the problem. By the way thank you for your help.

Coding SID for my custom airport, but the final waypoint of the SID doesn't show.

Hi Mazzar, As you recommended to me, I set all deletes then I first put my package in 15th position in content.xml in order to let asobo default packages first. It first did not work. But then, I tried to put my package in first position and it worked. So, what if I release my package to other...

Coding SID for my custom airport, but the final waypoint of the SID doesn't show.

ok thank you. so if I share my package to other people in the future, they will have to change my package priority in this file also ? or maybe it is a conflict with older versions of my project ? seems very weird as I never did it for other third party addons and all are working well.
