• Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. But having all questions about FS2020 in one forum becomes a bit messy. So therefore we would like to ask you all to use the following guidelines when posting your questions:

    • Tag FS2020 specific questions with the MSFS2020 tag.
    • Questions about making 3D assets can be posted in the 3D asset design forum. Either post them in the subforum of the modelling tool you use or in the general forum if they are general.
    • Questions about aircraft design can be posted in the Aircraft design forum
    • Questions about airport design can be posted in the FS2020 airport design forum. Once airport development tools have been updated for FS2020 you can post tool speciifc questions in the subforums of those tools as well of course.
    • Questions about terrain design can be posted in the FS2020 terrain design forum.
    • Questions about SimConnect can be posted in the SimConnect forum.

    Any other question that is not specific to an aspect of development or tool can be posted in the General chat forum.

    By following these guidelines we make sure that the forums remain easy to read for everybody and also that the right people can find your post to answer it.

    MSFS20 Since SU10 Navigraph database makes custom navdata waypoints disappear

    It doesn't work but I found the issue. Apparently Asobo changed the way MSFS loads addons. You have to use "Package Reorder Tool" to change this. I managed to put my addon above Navigraph's DB but I think that Navigraph DB is now missing.

    Hi, I'v created a custom navdata with VFR waypoints. It looks like Navigraph navdata excludes my addon, as when I turn Navigraph off, it appears. Any ideas how can I make my waypoints addon appear "above" Navigraph?

    Thats really a shame. I hope Asobo will open the lightrow option to work without an airport. The same they did with projected mesh. Its realu frustrating creating lights on objects right now.

    OK. Thanks. I tried to have a "day" texture with 100% black alpha and a "night" emmisive texture. It seems that the alpha channel would make both day and night texture invisible at night too.

    I am not sure what you're looking for but you can use ScenProc to place some objects with SHP files you created in Qgis. You can also use MSFS toolkit to process some polygons with files from QGIS. I have created a large amount of vegetation polygons in this manner.

    I would use Simobjects for animated objects such as windmills. For large wind farm ScenProc would be perfect for example. I would also add 3D Buildings for MSFS. I managed to do this for MSFS by batch converting the mdls to gltf with MCX. A direct step to MSFS would be perfect.
