If you find that exporting as DAE is sometimes quirky, and that the textures sometimes do not play nicely, try exporting as a WaveFront OBJ. This is my personal preferred method.
Export with Texture Maps from Sketchup. Then Import in Blender with the following settings:
Also, consider the...
If your textures are already applied and mapped in Blender then you should be good to go.
In using Blender 2.79 I usually export as a Wavefront OBJ and then convert to MDL using MCX.
However for some reason, the material (.MTL) file written with the OBJ does not work nicely with MCX and the...
It sounds like your workflow may be unnecessarily complex. Can you describe the exact steps you are taking?
Most times a model is imported into MCX it should already have textures applied to it. Then you make any minor (or wholesale) modifications to the textures already present. If you are...
So Simmarket has just suggested the use of Transferwise.com.
All that is needed is an IBAN or Swift Code+Account Number, however the website keeps asking me to fill out the account number field even after I have done so.
(My bank in Trinidad and Tobago does not use IBANs for some reason.)
Yes, Scenproc only reads definitions in the main autogen folder. You will need to either merge your definitions into that file or manually point scenproc to your folder which contains the new definitions.
Simmarket has decided to drop PayPal and use only bank transfers due to what they describe as them being difficult to work with to the point of "being arrogant and humiliating".
I await to see how this will affect my payments before forming an opinion.
I get what you mean, I should have written "one refund can't hurt". If that one sale happens to be a cheat/pirate who decides to distribute your scenery, there is very little we can do to fight it, refund or not.
Rick has the best answer IMO. One sale won't hurt you. But one aggrieved customer going on an internet rant can.
If I've tried my best to sort out any issues that the customer may be having, and he or his system is not at fault, and the customer is still unsatisfied, then I generally issue a...
Are your autogen trees custom or default?
I'm wondering if its some sort of conflict with my trees. But I've checked that there are no conflicting GUIDs, MDL format is FSX and DDS format is DTX5, so i'm really not sure what else to look for. :scratchch
I have not worked with PBR before but the simplest method that comes to mind for me is to use 2 separate models and use conditional visibility "MetPrecipitation" in SODE to place them in the sim.
Visit the SODE forum here for more info and have a look at this...
