The problem is that I cant get the exact coordinates of each part of my model so thats the only solution...
But it’s quite annoying that the tool isn’t working, because there are other objects in my airport like big hangars that cant be divided...
the model is created in sketchup, 1005 flat and not raied at all.
exported as a DAE in MCX then used the GPW to export is BGL.
the alt of my ADE airport is 648.004 and thats the default alt of the airport(for the record im using a photoreal that has its own terrain)
When Im entering the absolute alt as req my GP is lifted to the height of the ground from sea level.
in this case my scenery is 648.004 ASL.
what I meant is that when I enter 648.004m in the GWP it raises the GP to 1296.008 ASL.
thats not what ive done.
This thread is talking about the fact that my GP and the model have the same refrence point and that they align perfectly in SKETCHUP and not in the sim, even after im using the earth curve fix for the model only!
the GP was allways converted with the GPW, nothing else.
I am using the place and convert wizard, and after the export I use the earth curve tool to give it the curve but the tool is not realy working...
the model is completly flat and there are no offsets, when I merge it with the GP in Sketchup they line up perfectly
the tool just gives it too much...
