For info and to keep a record if someone searches for this topic, I have had success getting it to work on multiple PCL triggers after our email exchange. As suggested creating 3 sets of lights for the airfield on different PCL triggers has done the trick. I had to use 3 different ICAO...
I get the .mdl files in the P3Dv4 addons folder, as V4 uses simobjects to create the lights you don't need to place the .bgl files in the scenery folder. You only use the ADE XML file to pass the object positions to AFLT and generate the simobjects.
Maybe Don can work out what is going on?
Thanks for the reply Jon, Looking at the AFLT .ini file it looks like P3Dv4 compiler.
Path to P3Dv4 Compiler=C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4 SDK 18.104.22.16848\World\Scenery\BglComp.exe
I have an intersesting problem when I import the library.bgl from AFLT into ADE using the Object Library Manager. ADE seems to generate a new set of GUID's for the objects. No real issue from the ADE side of things, however when I create the simobjects for the P3Dv4 addons folder the...
Some progress pictures of Naval Outlying Field Whitehouse, Jacksonville FL.
Just dealing with the detail of custom lights and some other touches, I will have an FSX version but it will lack some detailed features.
In real life they would activate the Field Carrier lights manually before starting a practice session. In this case the airfield Runway lights could be either switched manually or by PCL, I'm trying to get my head around how I can have a user activate the field carrier lights on one end...
Sorry for the flurry of Questions, just wondering if it is possible to have two PCL options at the same airport? The reason is I'd like to have the activation of the standard runway lights configuration on a comm channel and the Field Carrier activated by tuning the TACAN/VOR.
I’m having an issue with my runway threshold split lights only showing the back effect. I.e the red side. Rwy green is specified for the front, using effect rather than BGL due to using sim objects.
Thanks in advance
